If I hadn't just read Dark Matter, I would probably have enjoyed this book much more. From what I hear, the 2nd and 3rd books actually make the book make more sense and explain some of the possible inconceivable positions of the plot.
Basically, there are multiple universes based on our decisions, and a young girl is struggling to find the killer of her father in those universes. But, being as this is a young adult book, there is the cliche love triangle (sort of, but it's not a hidden element). There were some pretty interesting parts in the book, and some fun hints along the way. But ultimately, it was just meh for me.
Now for the intended audience- I think once I start book talking it, it will fly off the shelf. I mean, really, the cover is pretty cool, too.
