I liked the book, but felt it extremely superficial. I read a book awhile ago similar in the fact that it touched on so many issues of society. Like, every single one, but didn't really deal with it. So while I enjoyed listening to it, a therapist or psychologist must be going crazy or ballistic in how these issues were dealt with (or not dealt with) in the book. I couldn't really make out who the main character was (I'm guessing some sort of autism?). I can see why it was popular, but from a parental/adult point of view, a little disturbing. As a book club member, lots of good stuff to talk about. As a high school librarian, we have it on our shelf and I will recommend it to those who I know will not take it as cannon for how to live their lives.
