My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Let's just say that it was a good thing I was able to discuss this book with someone- otherwise I would have missed a lot and rated it much lower. I think that the final reveal as to who stole the baby was so hard to figure out, and luckily there was some redemption with the discussion- otherwise I would have just thrown up my hands and said, "what a cop out". I don't want to say too much (unless I just did). It's almost as if it was more about the secrets of each of the women that were being revealed than about the actual mystery. But to be fair, it's not like the description didn't say that. It's just that I didn't feel like I could relate to hardly any of them. So, if you are interested in a bunch of new mothers learning how messed up they are, this is the book for you. I, for one, don't need anyone to tell me how messed up I can be- I have figured that out all by myself, thank you very much.
