I have to say this was a nice mystery. There were some questions that came up in our book group, but for the most part, the plot held up. Basically a young girl (originally thought to be right after high school, so there was some initial confusion) is befriended by the daughter of the power-family in a tourist town. Her parents died in a car accident, her grandmother recently passed away, so all she has is being the power-family's manager for the vacation houses. Then weird things start happening after the daughter/her best friend died, and so there is now a mystery as to just how "accidental" the friend's death was. I was surprised at the end, so it was a pretty good book. Only a couple of suspension of belief moments when I wondering about the conclusions of the main character.
