4/5 stars Coming to school as a 5th grader from another country has to be hard. Having all your best friends move is not easy when you're in 5th grade. And when the two come together, you'd think that they would be friends, or at least friendly. But this book is about hostility arises when assumptions are made, and people are too shy to feel confident enough to reach out. But not only does this show people how to get over our prejudices and learn to actually trust our parents (yes, we sometimes do know what we are doing), then things are not quite as impossible as we feel. |
