My rating: 3 of 5 stars
I would have given this a higher rating if I had rated it right after I read it, but the more time between reading it and remembering it, the emotions are more of an ennui. I didn't hate it, though- I mean, there are lots of different stories within one direction based on the concept of reincarnation, and there were some humorous moments. I especially loved the last line in which I have actually quoted to my DH a couple of times since I did chuckle audibly. But I can't remember all of the lived this guy lived, and the ones that I can remember I kind of wish I didn't since a couple of them were particularly disturbing. With all that said though, I think that there are plenty of people out there who could enjoy it. None of those people come to mind at the moment, but I know they are out there and when I happen to be at Barnes and Noble and overhear people talking, I may be able to pull this book out of my hat and suggest it to them (much to the embarrassment of my children since I don't actually work at B & N and because no one every asks me what to read while I'm there).
