Does it seem like it takes a huge explosion of emotion anymore to get to you? Kind of like how it's all about brutality of people to shock you, or horrific acts to make you tear up? Not this book. In this book the father has passed away from a stroke, and the mom and son are dealing with it. It's raw emotion dealing from the death of a loved one. And it is good to read. It's good to learn about the importance of reading. It's good to learn about the importance of a family. It's good to learn about a team. All in the midst of a hole created by missing a father, husband, son, brother, uncle, etc. In Rebound, Mr. Alexander allows the reader to see how the twins' father from Crossover became Chuck Da Man Bell and how his choices made him who he was. And he had an amazing grandfather. He was the best, realistic person that showed wisdom in hard work, pain, and goals.
