Well, I read it, and I can say that it will appeal to those young adults who want something adventurous, a little creepy, some gore, and some sci-fi. In the future there are two ships. One was a starter ship sent out to start a new world because Earth was just a mucky mess from global warming and pollution. But there was a glitch and so the few people in stasis pods woke up 500 years later or something like that. Then you have another ship who amazingly enough was an archeological ship (to the point they were actually looking for computer keyboards) that slammed into this old ship. And crazy monsters started chasing them all. It was a fast read once I got into it, and I do enjoy a good sci-fi book, but this one seemed to crush in such imaginative ideas I kind of had a hard time following it. Not sure if that is the fault of this reader or the author. But regardless, I'm quite sure that it can have a small cult following of those sci-fi kiddos out there.
