Definitely not Leigh Bardugo's YA. This one is gritty with necromancy, horror, and shows what happens to those who never really fit in. I'm excited to see what happens in the next one, as there are definite questions as to what happened to a couple of people. The alternating view points is not hard to follow or annoying, but rather keeps me intrigued as to find out what happened in the past and how it affects everything happening now and will affect the future. It was so intricate, so I'm not even going to try to explain what happened, other than it is set at Yale and apparently there are real secret societies that like to dabble in the paranormal. Rory Gilmore was never named in the book, however. Just letting you know.
