My rating: 4 of 5 stars
First of all, this is a book to read- don't listen. I'm sure that the audio is perfectly wonderful, but the book itself is a work of art. As you can see by the cover, it looks just like the iconic IKEA catalogs. The chapters each begin with a short description of a piece of furniture, which as you get farther along, actually becomes more and more of a torture device. This is the ultimate horror story, full of zombies infiltrating the knockoff version of IKEA. Grady Hendrix has thought outside of the box (which is a pretty funny expression once you read this book) that has poked good-natured fun at the maze of counter-clockwise wanderings in the store, the psychology of IKEA workers, and those who choose to work there. Good for those who enjoy horror and a bit of gruesome stuff (but if I can take it, almost anyone else can)
