So many times we hear about the struggle for certain rights- right to vote, right to marry, and in Argentina, the right for women to play soccer. But the story doesn't end after the legality. There is the cultural change, and Furia is dealing with that very thing. In a home where futbol is important for her brothers to make a name, she is frightened to let her family, her father in particular, know that she too loves the game and has a shot at being on an USA team with a scholarship. To add to the dilemma, she and her secret boyfriend who is nationally known as a professional futbol player are figuring out how to make a long distance relationship work. But above all, Furia (that's not her real name) just wants to make her dreams come true- even against everything her culture and family expect.
