My son got this book and loved it, so of course I had to read it, and I'm glad I did. It was amazingly done. Ms. Brosgol is so talented to reach out to the readers to let them know that their feelings of being left out and wanting more are not uncommon, and that there are lots of us out there who are insecure. But she also gives us insight on how to embrace who we are. And this book about a young Russian girl who learned this lesson during summer camp. I still think about the book and will comment on it to my son, so the value goes far beyond entertainment.
