Progeny of Sherlock Homes and Watson have come together again. Charlotte has the same aloof, almost socially awkward personality that Holmes had, and she needs to solve the mystery of who is setting her up for a murder. Her "sidekick", Watson, is a boy who is fairly enamored with Charlotte, but still able to fill the holes and work together to solve the murder. Charlotte's brother may be behind the scene, or the Napoleon of crime, the Moriarty family, or someone else entirely. This is a great addition to the slew of books based on Sherlock and Holmes, true to the same personalities of the originals, yet relevant enough for young adults. A good "aha" moment when you realize who it is, but there is still some twistedness to keep you reading into the second book.
