My second round of reading this book for the biotech/student book club. Maybe with an appeal more to middle grade, there were so many things that weren't clicking with me or the students as well. The kids were oddly more successful in breaking and entering into many high security areas. They solved a decades-old murder, but chose not to tell anyone because they were tired. There are two facets to the book- one a murder, and one with the genetic mutation from parvovirus that turns the kiddos into sort-of wolves. Hands down, the students enjoyed the murder mystery. Scooby Doo is just as good. Just sayin'
