This book broke me. I actually didn't finish. I can't- it's just kind of boring and it's really long. There are some interesting parts, don't get me wrong, and it's well written. Basically there is a man who has a car accident and his sister comes back to their town to help him. The caveat is that he doesn't believe she's his sister, even though he recognizes her. I guess it's a real thing. So she gets a specialized neurologist (I think) to try and help him. But he has some issues as well. And she also is dallying with an old romance while she's there. Again, it's not a horrible book and I believe it got some recognition award-wise. But it's just not for me. If it were about half the number of words I probably would have finished it. But I'm counting what I read as part of my goodreads challenge because I invested a lot of time to get as far as I did.
