A good mystery book, quick read, and some surprising twists. I'm definitely not going to say it's on par with Gone Girl, but this would be enjoyable for a summer read.
A couple bring a baby monitor with them to a next door party while their 6 month old sleeps next door. They come home at 1:00AM and baby is missing. So, now, is it the mother, the father, a stranger, someone hired, or who? Is the baby still alive? Quick read, and nothing gruesome, so that's a plus. But I can't, in good conscience, give this a 4 or 5 stars for a book when that's what I would have given to Gone Girl, Defending Jacob, etc. But if I hadn't read them...then maybe a four star.
