My rating: 4 of 5 stars
A thoroughly sweet book that isn't necessarily swoon-worthy, but more feeling like we've come home to visit some old friends. I read another book so very similar but with the background of WWII, as well as a more serious tone, but this author has become a favorite of mine for feel good books. How would one not love the setting of a bookstore that is desperately in need of a makeover? Who wouldn't feel the same blush when a famous author shows interest in you? And how does the heart not melt when family feuds mend to create friendship in family? Even though this is for the time of Christmas, it will be a great book to read even if it isn't snowing outside and you aren't slurping a mug of hot cocoa.
