My rating: 4 of 5 stars
My heart was pounding towards the end of the book. Just wow. I won't say that I was necessarily shocked at any of the outcomes, but it was such an eye opener of all the things that are still going on in Northern Ireland with regards to the IRA. I confess I don't know a whole lot about the conflict or the nuances of what group is. So while this was informative, it was also a reminder that unrest is everywhere. And with Tessa, who is just trying to be a good mother, a good employee at the BBC, she is unfortunately brought into the midst of the unseen civil war. And it is scary. Flynn Berry has unwittingly urged me to do research on this subject, which is always means a 4 or 5 star book for me.
