Jason Reynolds has crossed more lines again to speak to the youth. In this poetic novel he addresses youth violence and how far revenge should go. As he said last week, why do we care if a tree falls whether we can hear it or not. Kids are falling every day and we don't seem to have the same discussion about them. But Jason does. And at the end he challenges us to consider the noise children make when they fall without any one hearing them.
