This was so fun to read because I could ask my mom about the pictures and the history of her small town. I am glad they decided to make a book about the Bavarian Village that is full of more than just the touristy stuff. I remember walking with my dad around Icicle Loop and he would point out where the sawmill was or talking about coming over the mountain into town which is now where The Sound of Music is performed. And a bragging moment- Aunt Pauline is in the book a few times. Thank you, Rose Kinney-Holck for representing a little town that means a lot to our family! PS- I got the digital copy of this book on Hoopla.
