I remember liking the book a lot when I read it, but I can't remember a lot about it specifically now that it's been a couple of weeks. However, I can say that it had a cool Black Panther vibe and one that did not transplant someone from another county to the US, but rather transplanted a couple of people from the US to their country in Africa. So that was super cool. And I also remember thinking that team work was essential. However, I also remember thinking that the kids in the book were far too mature than their supposed 11-13 year old selves. But then I remember thinking that maybe that's based on my own children or the lives of kids here in the States. I think a lot of YA students will enjoy it, especially with the Black Panther appeal (because anything related to that movie is a good thing).
