I didn't hate the book, but I have to say that if you are going to mimic the greatest of all time (Agatha Christie), then you need to make sure it is awesome and has a good twist to differentiate it from the queen of mystery. I'm not saying this book didn't have a twist- it did because it mixed in the real horrors of post warfare from the Great War with Ghosts. Yup, ghosts. And murder. But I just didn't seem to get into it. I may go back and re-read it or listen to it to see if maybe it was the format I gleaned from (I listened to it and although the reader was quite good, I just couldn't focus). And to those of you who think you know why I didn't get into it- no, I did not listen to it at chipmunk speed. But this is a book I would probably have enjoyed, hence my willingness to try it again at a later time. Oh, and I did like the premise of the murder, but I won't mention it here due to the spoiler effect. But I thought it was quite appropriate.
