For those of you who are going to read it- make sure you understand that it goes backwards in time. That will help tremendously. Now, to the actual review. I think I was spoiled with Small Great Things. It was just so good and really raised my hackles about some things, as well as actually had me quoting some of the lines. However, with this book, it was good, but I don't know that I am any different. Maybe because it is about a subject that most of us already have strong opinions about (pro-choice/pro-life), but it was interesting to see all the different parties that are involved in a women's clinic. There were a couple of good twists (one you could see coming, one I didn't but other people did), and it definitely is a well written and thoroughly researched book. But it didn't change me like some other books did. And I also have to applaud my book club. I loved our discussion despite the fact that we have all very different ideas and beliefs. It was what a conversation should be for anything.
